These terms govern your use of the Little Years app and website. By creating an account, you agree to them. We've tried to keep this readable.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Little Years is intended for parents and guardians; accounts are created and controlled by adults.
The memories you create — letters, notes, photos, videos, audio, and milestones — remain entirely yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service: to store your content, sync it to your devices, and deliver it by email to the addresses you choose. We do not use your content for advertising, training, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the features you asked for. We do not sell your content or your personal information.
Don't use Little Years to store or send anything unlawful, abusive, or that violates someone else's rights, and don't attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service. Only add someone's email address to a delivery or newsletter list if you have their permission (or, in the case of your child, the authority to do so as their parent or guardian).
A core feature of Little Years is delivering memories and scheduled letters by email to addresses you specify. Once an email has been delivered to a recipient's inbox, it exists in that inbox independently of us and we cannot retrieve or delete it. This permanence is intentional — it means your child's memories survive even if Little Years does not. Please double-check email addresses before scheduling delivery.
We work hard to keep the service running and your data safe, but Little Years is provided "as is," without warranties. We may update, change, or discontinue features. If we ever needed to discontinue the service entirely, we would give reasonable notice and provide a way to export your memories. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in Settings → Delete account & all data. This is permanent and cannot be undone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
If we make significant changes, we'll update this page and the effective date. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept them.
